Kate Antonas comes to Walk Through Walls with more than 15 years working in senior roles in the not-for-profit arts sector.

She has extensive experience in community engagement, operations and development, and venue and program management across regional and metropolitan Western Australia and Victoria. Internationally, she has brought her creative project management skills to major festivals and grassroots cultural platforms in Southeast Asia and Europe.

Most recently, Kate was the General Manager at Melbourne Electronic Sound Studio and working closely with the CEOs and Directors, she led the team to deliver robust annual artistic and education programs, forging partnerships with major institutions, funding bodies and diverse communities, and strengthening the organisation’s operations and financial standing.

With a focus on collaboration and community and stakeholder relations, she has led small and passionate teams to deliver ambitious artistic and community development programs which have transformed places and forged new creative and economic pathways for emerging artists and practitioners.
