Emily Mann is an Associate with Walk Through Walls.

Emily’s specialist area is developing cultural and tourism strategies focused on growth and sustainability outcomes for cultural organisations, their regional community and economy, and their investors.

Emily has more than 15 years’ diverse arts management experience in metropolitan and regional settings across New South Wales, Western Australia and the Northern Territory. Her previous roles include CEO of Darwin Festival, Festival Director of the Parkes Elvis Festival, Program Manager of the Perth Writers Festival as part of Perth International Arts Festival, programmer and financial administrator at Sydney Writers’ Festival and programmer at Sydney Living Museums. She was an Australia Council for the Arts peer from 2017 to 2021.

Emily’s professional experience balancing artistic, cultural, operational, community and commercial outcomes provides her with a holistic viewpoint in developing strategic plans, cultural projects and funding submissions. She understands the organisational challenges of operating in the not-for-profit environment while managing investor, partner, community and artist expectations to achieve success for all.
